Sorry! Retreat-goers purchase their own plane tickets. Sofia International Airport (SOF) is 70 km/44 miles from the retreat grounds.

Sofia International Airport (SOF) in Bulgaria

Non-citizens need a passport to enter Bulgaria. All passports must be valid at least six months from your date of travel. You may or may not need a visa depending on your passport's country of issuance. For up to date visa information visit the Bulgarian Embassy website.

Sofia International Airport (SOF) is just 60 minutes from the UDAYA LIVE Retreat location. Our team will greet you at the airport holding an UDAYA LIVE sign and will guide you to your shuttle. Inbound shuttle service is available on August 09th & 10th, 2022 however hotel accommodation for the 10th is not included in your ticket. Outbound shuttle service is available on August 15th.

Every buffet meal offers plenty of options for vegans, vegetarians, and carnivores alike.

The currency of Bulgaria is the Bulgarian Leva.

There is a currency exchange booth at Sofia International Airport (SOF) in the baggage claim area. And there is an ATM within Hotel Rila.

For your practice - yoga mat, sweat towel, water bottle (mats & bottles are sold at the retreat).

For the spa - bathing suit, swim cap & flip flops. 

For after the sun goes down - layers of clothing. 

For hotel check in & retreat registration - your ID, driver’s license or passport. 

For charging your devices - electrical Adapter Type E/F (standard Europe).

Yes, we offer a one time transfer of a retreat pass to a friend or family member. Please email tickets@udaya.com.
