Flow into a blissful state of deep relaxation and expanding awareness while bathed in soulful music. Sheela Bringi and Brent Kuecker lead these guided somatic meditations accompanied by enchanting live harp, bamboo flute and Indian singing. Yoga Nidra (“Yogic Sleep” in Sanskrit), is practiced lying down in Savasana. The class opens with a short discussion followed by gentle yoga asanas to prepare the body and mind for meditation. Yoga Nidra has been shown to have therapeutic, cognitive and spiritual benefits.
